Dairy Free

There are lots of debates happening around the world whether or not you should eat dairy. The main carbohydrate in dairy is lactose, a “milk sugar” that is made of the two simple sugars glucose and galactose. Lactose intolerance is common issue in most of Asians. If you are lactose intolerant then you should avoid dairy products. Allergy flare ups and sinus congestion, Acne, headache, Migraine might be few symptoms that you are sensitive to dairy products. Many people have a hard time digesting dairy because of casein. Casein is a protein found in dairy products that is difficult to digest and can cause all kinds of inflammatory reactions. ​

 

Now, how to take a call whether lactose or casein is causing an inflammatory reaction in your body? Cut all dairy products from your diet for 4 weeks. That means skip the milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, and all other dairy products completely from your food. Though you can continue butter since it has no casein or lactose and rarely causes problems for people. If you are intolerant to dairy products then congestion, stomach problems and acne should reduce/eliminate within this duration.
